Chief Executive Officer
Peter is the co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Foresight, responsible for developing and executing strategy for the organisation; providing leadership and guidance for cyber security professionals; and assisting teams in achieving their delivery objectives. With Jocaine, Peter founded Foresight in 2009 which is now considered a market leader, with strong employee loyalty and consistent year-on-year growth and profitability.
Peter has over twenty years of experience, built on a background working in consulting, security engineering and security assessments. Prior to starting Foresight, Peter worked in the Global Security Consulting team at VeriSign where he was responsible for leading technical security engagements and working with some of VeriSign's largest and most complex clients in Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific and North America. Prior to this Peter also worked for a variety of other organisations including Telstra, Advantra and Fujitsu.
Peter is an endorsed IRAP Assessor, being one of the first individuals admitted into the Program. Peter is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Senior ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
Chief Operations Officer
Jocaine is co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer at Foresight, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the company. For over a decade Jocaine has been responsible for driving operational excellence in the business across a variety of areas including financial, administrative, legal, recruitment, communications and marketing.
Prior to starting Foresight Jocaine worked in a variety of communications and public relations roles within the medical industry.
Jocaine holds a Bachelor in Communications, specialising in Public Relations.
Head of Security Enablement
Alton is the Head of Security Enablement at Foresight. He is responsible for enabling Foresight clients’ security through control implementation and remediation; security program design and execution; and security strategy and advice.
Alton has extensive information security experience, having worked in the field for over twenty years in a variety of operational and leadership roles. He has helped Foresight clients assess, design, and implement security programs to protect their data, systems and assets.
Prior to joining Foresight, Alton worked as the Cyber Security Delivery Manager at the Reserve Bank of Australia. In this role he was instrumental in the design, implementation and operation of the ACSC Essential Eight strategies for the Bank. At the time, the Reserve Bank of Australia’s implementation of the Essential Eight was generally considered by the Australian National Audit Office to be one of the best implementations reviewed. Previous roles at the Bank included responsibility for Payment Systems security, management of security policy and assurance, and managing the security operations team.
Alton holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and Masters in Information Security.
Head of Cloud Security Assessments
Greg is the Head of Cloud Security Assessments at Foresight, responsible for the company’s security assessment programs; strategic program direction and development; and technical security compliance and assurance. For the past decade Greg has been assessing and advising Australian Government Agencies and some of the largest, most complex organisations in the world including two out of the three “hyperscale” cloud service providers. As one of the most prolific IRAP assessors in the program Greg has extensive experience working with cloud service providers, technology vendors and federal, state and local government departments across various levels of business. He provides an effective combination of technical expertise, communication and management/leadership skills to assist Foresight clients in achieving their security outcomes.
Greg is an InfoSec Registered Assessor (IRAP Certified), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Associate – Security (CCNA Security), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), AWS Solutions Architect, Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and holds diplomas in project management and software development.
Head of Security Engineering
Adam is the Head of Security Engineering at Foresight, responsible for leading the company’s security engineering teams and projects; and defining and executing on the Foresight technical assurance strategy. Since starting at Foresight in 2019, Adam has honed his unique combination of technical security knowledge with the ability to create high performing teams into developing a world-class security engineering function, with strengths in the Australian Government and cloud security space. He works closely with Foresight clients, using his in-depth technical expertise to consistently build and deliver security solutions.
Prior to joining Foresight, Adam was the Manager of Mitigation and Response at the Reserve Bank of Australia. In this role he established the RBA Security Intelligence Operations Centre (SIOC) and matured their capabilities in incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, security operations and security engineering. Adam’s fifteen year tenure at the Bank included roles in security solutions and consulting, manager of security analysis, and acting Chief Information Security Officer.
Adam holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification and is an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OCSP).
Head of Strategy
Kanling is the Head of Strategy for Foresight, responsible for the design, development and execution of the company’s strategy; managing strategic plans; and leading strategic initiatives for the organisation. Her experience spans cybersecurity, project management and business strategy at highly complex, large-scale organisations. She has over 15 years’ experience working in both consulting and advisory roles as well as in-house risk, security and architecture roles. Kanling is passionate about delivering value to Foresight clients and defining the company strategy that enables our vision and mission.
Prior to joining Foresight, Kanling worked in the engineering and infrastructure sector. She implemented group wide IT risk and security strategy, governance frameworks and operational processes; delivered security uplift programs; and managed other significant enterprise-wide programs and projects.
Kanling holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional, Project Management Professional (PMI PMP) and Certified Internal Auditor.
